1.) DParker - 05/23/2014
...a possible astronomical event viewing opportunity of a lifetime late tonight into early tomorrow morning, and we're going to be covered by clouds and rain the whole time. Figures.

2.) Swamp Fox - 05/23/2014
We have heavy clouds today too, with the risk of isolated severe storms, but it's supposed to clear for tomorrow, so maybe there's hope for tonight. I'm gonna look at the hourly forecast. We have a telescope at Camp Swampy, Roofed Campus.

Thanks for the heads-up.
3.) DParker - 05/26/2014
Well, the meteor shower turned out to be more of a drip than a storm...so I don't feel so bad now. Maybe next year.
4.) Ar-mink - 05/26/2014
Here in SW ok the farmers have a rule. Anyone caught singing "rain, rain, go away" shall be shot on site. Still it would've been cool to see a meteor shower.
