For those that haven't tried it, I highly suggest trying strings made from BCY-X. I've been testing/shooting it since last fall and I won't be switching away from it anytime soon. The stability matches 452x, but without the fuzz factor. It's only available in solid colors, but the colors seem to really be much more vibrant. It seems to be the best of both worlds where you get the stability of 452x and the anti fuzz factors of 8190. I'm having a lot of luck with both strings and cables made from X.

If you are interested in a set for hunting or target, PM me and I'll be glad to get you a set of Pure Perfextion bowstrings on the way with a 1 year warranty against serving separation and peep rotation.

So, no flo lime camo? A few of my friends will be disappoint. :wink

I think I've heard of Pure Perfextion mentioned here and there but don't know anything about them.

Are there bows/systems that BCY-X is particularly suited or unsuited for, that you know of? I can never keep that stuff straight in my mind, but I know people have opinions about it.

Pure Perfextion is the brand that I shoot for, made by my local shop that I also shoot for, Broken Rack Archery. Hoytem is also on staff with them, and I know that LCA, Jude, Barry, and a few others have tried the strings.

As far as X goes, it's performing well on anything. The gnarliest of speed bows to 20 year old Mathews, and everything in between. I don't think there is a compound made in the last 20 years that wouldn't be a good candidate for X threads.
