The snake catchers made their annual trip to the ranch last week. Caught 14, none under 5 foot!

These four were in the same hole!

Does the second snake in the bucket always just hunker down? I noticed that while they're handling the first one, they don't seem to be paying attention to the second one. Maybe I missed somebody keeping an eye on it.


What do they do with the snakes they catch? Milk them? Send 'em to a museum? Fry 'em up?

That reminds me of the lease we had in Barnhart, we had a rocky den & every year we would get as many as 15 to 20, but we would just kill em.

They sell them. If you ever watched the show "rattlesnake republic", they sell to the old man who was the buyer on that show

I'll have to look for that. I don't think you can catch snakes for sale here. Not that I'd want to, LOL.
