[B]Nothing. Absolutely nothing! [/B] When I say nothing I mean not a cluck, a gobble, a purr, a putt or a single dang sound. I mean no sign, no trail cam pics. Nothing.

No sightings as I tried to roost them at night. Couldn't find a one and covered about 11 square miles over 6 hunts. Yeah. I know. Boo hoo. Woe is me.

I compare this to this past fall deer hunting the same area wherein I had multiple close proximity encounters and tons of screeching very loud hens calling to each other. A few times the entire flock walked directly beneath my stand.

I don't know if the 4+ weeks of on again off again periodic deluge of heavy rain we've been having has anything to do with this but I'm absolutely mystified.

Oh well. Now it's on to food plots, repairing a dam on a pond, brush hogging and clearing shooting lanes.
