The link below is a looooooooong read so if you have a short attention span I'll save you the time ... don't bother.

For those interested in militaria, I thought the article was well-researched, well-written, plausible and left me with the thought "Oh, God no. I surely pray it does not come to this."

Good read, but the story left out a few plot twists:

Edward Snowden is abducted from Russia by Seal Team Six, and spirited to a dark site in Bulgaria, where he's confronted with a choice hatched by shadowy Presidential Advisor Steve Bannon: renounce Russian citizenship (discovered during an earlier covert operation in Moscow headed by Melania Trump's younger sister, Katarina, a trained assassin with a penchant for tight black leather outfits) and become a U.S. double-agent, or be forcibly reunited with his unstable lunch-hour stripper/circus contortionist ex-girlfriend, whom he had abandoned when he fled the country the first time because he was a patriot, and whom he thought probably wanted to kill him.

Out of fear, Snowden agrees to this arrangement. He also feels he has no choice. His Crimean-born new girlfriend back in Moscow has had second thoughts about her initial support for Vladimir Putin for many months, and has made statements over vodka to acquaintances Edward doesn't trust, and whom he suspects might be KGB informers. He thinks she has put them both in danger, and he is afraid to return to their apartment even if he could escape the Americans.

Despite his fears, though, or perhaps because of them, Snowden refuses to return to Moscow even to retrieve his code book, which--it's true--Seal Team Six was unable to locate during the extraction, and which is vital if catastrophe is to be avoided, as will become plain later in the story. Not even torture is effective in turning Snowden, and a plan of last resort involving Taco Bell is abandoned.

No doubt this is a major setback, but Bannon convinces retired rogue catburglar Reince Priebus to parachute back into Russia posing as a used book buyer, accompanied by his ailing mother, played by Kellyanne Conway, who will use the excuse that she needs to consult a certain Russian doctor if she is ever to have any hope of defeating her disease, which members of the media fear might be contagious.

To cover for them on the mission, Steve Bannon recruits a team of experts and superheroes from around the world, including Mexico, and...

Late night taxi cab ride through the backstreets of Moscow with Katarina wearing only stilettos and a fur coat?

It's for research.

One of the best and most entertaining things Melania Trump could do as First Lady is bring fur back.
