Merry Christmas to all you stand up guys and goobers, I have been suffering from medical issues in my left leg and it hasn't been a fun holiday so far but I trust it will get better. Lots of doctor visits but not any relief yet. Before this flare up I had been hunting my dead father in laws small farm with not much success but that's partly my fault, I hit a good 10 point early in the season , the shot wasn't good and hit him high, since then I have killed 2 pigs and had not seen another deer. Two weeks ago about midnight he showed back on the cam about midnight, I was glad he lived and he now gets a pass if I see him again. At this point I can't walk except on crutches or a walker but hopefully I'll get relief on my bad leg before Christmas. I still live on the lake and enjoy the view every day.
I still look back fondly on the fun we had on all the pig hunts back in the day, and if I didn't tell you Roy passed away back in the spring from a sudden massive viral infection, no one knows what caused it and he only lived a couple of weeks after contraction, what a pity, he was such a great guy.
I am going into phase three of an Alzheimer's medicine study in a month, the group before me showed some great results so hopefully my screwed up brain will be getting a boost.
Just wanted to wish all my old buds a great Christmas and also the ones of you that I haven't met. Thanks Alex!!!! HAVE A GREAT YEAR BUDDIES!!!!!

In case you goobers haven't met Billy, he's one of the absolute best people I know.
Merry Christmas Billy. I wish you and your family the best and most hopeful and joyous holidays.
My fingers and toes are crossed that your medical issues get straightened out sooner rather than later.

Hey, Billy. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.

I'm sorry for your troubles. I know you've had a rough time the last few years.

It's a good thing you're no pansy... :wink

I think of you often, and of Roy and the pig hunts, and feel very lucky to have "met" so many brothers on this site.
