1.) Ventilator - 05/30/2013

The Bassmaster classic has been held two times in the last 10 years on Lake Hartwell. It is a great lake , especially for post spawn fishing. Last two trips have yielded some really nice bass on topwater and swim baits. Lately , there have been some big spotted bass showing up as well. The kids have caught quite a few. We are headed to the outer banks of NC on june 8 to chase some redfish and sea trout. Really looking forward to it!

Actually, both my kids are too, along with a sunrise over the lake.


Last year we fished near the Manteo bridge area. Probably try there first. Going to sneads ferry ,at Topsail, mid week to see a military buddy of mine. We will fish that area on the inter-coastal for a few days.

We decided not to go this year. Paying for a wedding, divorce, bankruptcy, over the last 12 months has taken a toll on the vacation budget.

Going to shoot for next year, always go to Corolla now. Manteo is nice, like it there.
