Raining this afternoon in central NC. Wasn't supposed to come in til tomorrow afternoon. But we aren't
going to get ten inches as the article says Catawba County got in any event ---Hard to believe ten inches but then again I'm not there:shocked:

This week was dry for a change, thank goodness.. Next week will be 50/50 esp. w. more rain mid- and late-week.

And now, back to the news desk with Rick and Bubbles...

I got a text from Florida. The Peace River crested and the back pasture is under water all the way to the back gate!

By the way, Billy never thanked me for bringing that rain to Texas with me!

Damnit. I'm on my way down there tomorrow to play golf. Swampy, if I'm rained out, wanna meet for drinks?
5.) Swamp Fox - 07/28/2013
Tomorrow's no good for me unfortunately. Waiting on the Directv guy all day, LOL.

Scoutlook says we have a 45% chance of rain all day (95% in the early AM) with thunderstorms all afternoon...What that means from what I can tell about Scoutlook is you may or not get wet...LOL.

Think positive! :tu:

Although I can do something in the evening assuming DTV doesn't string me out ALL day...

12.) Swamp Fox - 07/28/2013
We should have some whoppers here, then. :-)
I'm hoping all the lil baby turkeys didn't get wiped out, though. :( Cool and wet is not good for them.

Complaining is only half as much fun as actually doing something twice as constructive about the life you supposedly are pretending to enjoy sincerely, especially if your viewpoint is 'half full'.

Thank you Yogi.
