I got me one of them new wheel bows. I used to hunt with a old hickory limb that I found out in the pasture and tied some 20lbs suffix fishing line to it. It was fast. 113 fps and would blow right through them deer at 3 yards. I like to get close to the animals I'm trying to harvest. I like to smell what they ate last night for supper. I've killed lots of deer with ol knot. ( that's what I called her). But my damn dog used it for a chew toy I had to let her go. These new fingled wheel bows now days are the cats arse. And the new sight that you can get for them. Ol my. It's allot better than stapling a match to my ol knot. But it worked like a charm. Since I got my new wheel bow my affective range should double maybe even triple. My goal is to be able to stretch my kill zone out to 12-13 yards. I know some of you guys will never be able to get that far but hey you gotta dream big if you wanna kill the big uns.
