I was thinking about crawfish festivals just the other day....too bad they're right smack in the prime of turkey season.

Speaking of bugs, I got my first tick this year on February 10 and the first skeeter about a week later, LOL. I've gotten ticks off animals earlier than that.

billy have you ever tried smoking shrimp ? just to give it that smoke flavor..theres a place here thats called absolute fresh...sells fish, lobster anykind of seafood. they have this shrimp thats like 20 bucks a lb, has a smoky flavor to it..man its good..
