I have the leather but I'm having trouble finding patterns, I have an old shirt pattern by green river forge and was trying to find more info but I keep running into dead ends. can anybody help with finding patterns for buckskin clothing :bang::bang::bang:

Have you tried looking at traditional muzzleloading/blackpowder forums or maybe even cowboy shooting sites (like http://sassnet.com/)?

Trappers groups might also be worth a peek. Historical reenactment groups as well. The sutlers might be particularly helpful.

With all the pointing and giggling, Swampy gave up his buckskin loin cloth. Didn't quite get it right the first time.

He switched to a Swamp Fox loin cloth. Tuned out to be small enough. Hence his Swamp Fox handle. The fox tail hanging out the back add to his allure. Well, so he thought. True story.
