All the time I've spent in the woods here, how did I not know about these fuzzy little bastards? If I wanted to worry about little critters that want to kill me I'd move to Australia.

I've never seen one, nor their adult form either. You'd better believe I'll be paying closer attention now though.

Sshh, Texans will start charging big money to hunt them. Among other things.

That's a good point. Maybe I'm overlooking an entrepreneurial opportunity here. I should really devote a little more time and effort to memorizing the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition.

Caddy-corner the market, the gullible will beat a path to your oyster world. Specially if there are rumors about getting high or use as an aphrodisiac.
5.) Floyd - 08/28/2014
The nauseating, excruciating pain thing maybe a draw back though.

Talking about making money on Venomous Caterpillars.

You know, corner the market $$. If you have what people want, they will beat a path to your door $$$. Then the world is your oyster $$$$.
8.) Floyd - 08/29/2014
Anyways, thanks for the information DP. I have shown this to my kids.

And will share with my Scouts.

Thanks again.
9.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014

10.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014
now this is a venomous catipillar...

man I thought you guys where tough in texas...
11.) Floyd - 08/29/2014
Don't you have spiders in your basement to scream at or bother or something?
12.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014
you guys arnet going to start changing youre ways of hunting because of the poisionus catipillar are you??
13.) Floyd - 08/29/2014
Here's the deal CE, (and I'm sure you are well versed in this as a real man) you have to know and identify the thread, to know if you need to rub dirt in the wound or tobacco or jalapeno or when to cut it out with a knife or use a red hot poker. (Poor CE just fainted)

Not judging; hitching up your skirt, running and screaming out the door like you do might be just be fine for Nebraskans. :re:

15.) Floyd - 08/29/2014
Crickets are lucky. You should get some more.
16.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014

Shoot no. Will feed those things to the rattle snakes while we're hunting for fun and entertainment. You'd like rattle snake stew CE. Go catch one.

19.) DParker - 08/29/2014
It's always good to know which harmless looking things are best left alone.
20.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014
my basement is like a rainforest now..if I could somehow rig up a camera on what goes on there at night..sometimes I go down there in the morning and I find a grasshopper leg..when I see the grasshopper legg I no its the cetipedes... its like a African water hole down there
21.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014
the centipedes are more or less like a wolf pack down there.. i'm starting to see them in packs now..
22.) crookedeye - 08/29/2014
I cant blame them... the hunting is good down there..

You may have just discovered the secret to Chuck's legendary lethality.
27.) bluecat - 08/29/2014
Good point. Maybe the roundhouse kicks were developed in an effort to keep his rug on while he fought.
