1.) Deerminator - 03/08/2013
Opens April 1st here. Texophite and I are heading up to Jessup River in the ADK for the day.
Sposta be some brokies in there. Tex wants to also check out possibly bear hunting
it in the fall. Should be interesting.

I live within a few miles of Chittenango Creek, where I could fish all winter if I wanted. But alas, I'm more and more a fair weather fisherman/hunter/sportsman, so I'll wait for the weather to compliment my style. :-)

Hi PB good to see ya.

Since they opened Butternut, Chitnango, and Limeston all year it took the shibang out of opening day.
That's why we're go'n someplace we've never been before.

Love the avitar:tu:
4.) Alex - 03/08/2013
always spent 4/1 on Limestone with my grandfather. Never really caught any big ones but that was hardly the point :-)
5.) billy b - 03/08/2013
Can I catch some crappie & call em trout? If so I'm going fishing as soon as the wind lets me anchor on my "private" deep water brush pile.:hb:
6.) Swamp Fox - 03/08/2013
Very windy here today, too. Actually, high winds a couple of times this week. The day of or before the snow that freaked out Bob Peck was quite a blow. :wink

Largemouth bass are trout (green trout) some places, for some people (coastal Carolinas, esp. SC, to distinguish them from speckled sea trout).

So many fish, so little time...:-)
7.) Deerminator - 03/09/2013
Should be an interesting venture. Texo is more interested in scouting bear and I'm more interested in brook trout.
Fortunately I can run faster than him:-)
8.) DropzOfWild - 03/09/2013
I'd like to go fishin again...I pretty much gave it up for deer and turkey. Especially now with two lil ones I hardly Hav time to do anything. Trout season was a big holiday for us when pop was here......wow how things change.
9.) Deerminator - 03/09/2013
Take the little ones. Just make sure you bring ALL the just in case stuff, and let them go at there own speed. It's a BLAST!!!.
And bring the camera.
10.) DropzOfWild - 03/09/2013
We tried fishin last year and she lost interest really quick, more insterested in running lol however I've taken her turkey huntin and done really well contained to the blind
11.) Deerminator - 03/10/2013
They can be a hand full:tu:
12.) Old Crow - 03/10/2013

Soon enough the fishing will be a great way to get the little ones outdoors with ya and build some bank time with the wife for hunting season ..... seems like the first outdoor sport to take the kids !!!
