Still plenty of Osceola`s down in central Florida. Just two more weeks til we get to go after them with our bows. Looking forward to shooting something again. Work season is getting long.

This double bearded bad boy will hopefully be first in line!

Thats cool DM. You been buying up the turkey shot? If its anything like NC, all the turkey loads have been wiped out along with every other kind of ammo. STill plenty of broadheads around luckily.

All this nice weather should get the fishing going good too. :tu:

5.) Ventilator - 03/11/2013

7.) Swamp Fox - 04/04/2013

I still haven't been out yet.

When the millipedes start rutting in your basement CE, you know that it's turkey time.

Center punched the double bearded bird the first evening at 12 yds in the dekes. He ran 20yds and flopped. I thought Slam was a done deal. About 30 secs later ,he got up and ran into the swamp. Had a broken wing looked like. Looked two hours and couldnt find him. Monsoon rain the next two days. Flooded 1800 acres and shut down the birds as well. Tough trip, have to try again next year i guess. Appears the arrow broke his wing on entry then deflected to exit thru the chest instead of the back & vitals.

That's too bad. Did you shoot him puffed up?
12.) Ventilator - 04/04/2013
yeah, i aimed mid body thru his wing. Broke the bone but the arrow appeared to change course. Lit nock exited 4 feet left in front of him.
13.) Swamp Fox - 04/04/2013
Huh!

Damn lighted nocks, LOL.
14.) Ventilator - 04/04/2013
well, i guess i should clarify that the entire arrow, including the lit nock, exited left of stage. lol

I was just able to notice in the video that it changed course drastically on exit.

That's what I figured, LOL, but you never really know..:p
