Plastic coffee cans also make water-tight and space-friendly toilet paper containers...Leave them out by the cathole or camper's portajohn...:tu: They take the weather really well. Ask me how I know...
4.) bluecat - 04/06/2015
How do you know?:-)
5.) Swamp Fox - 04/06/2015
'You have to know these things when you're a king..." :wink

LOL

You walked right into it. :wink

I've been using them for a long time, partly because I can't throw anything away if I can imagine it might possibly be useful if I live long enough. :re: One of my many character flaws, LOL.

I recommend the blue Maxwell House containers, though, rather than the red Folgers. Much better lld (more solid and tight). :tu:
6.) Swamp Fox - 04/06/2015
And now for something completely different...:

I have a new-in-the-box Primos Jake Mobile turkey deke and two new-in-the-box original Plot Watchers up for grabs, just for starters...
7.) BULLZ-i - 04/07/2015
YOU USING THE COFFEE TO SMUGGLE DRUGS?
8.) Deerminator - 04/07/2015
Brilliant!

That stump would make a great target/ bullet stop, for shooting at.

Do I get a cut if I sell the stump?:-)

I wonder how many drug dogs are named Juan Valdez?

New inventory arriving daily:

Gator Bites! One plateful, plus other delicacies, all yours with tickets to the Camp Swampy Game Banquet to be held as soon as possible after the nuisance permit arrives for the 10-foot gator hanging out in one of the ponds.

Just because turkeys like to roost over water doesn't mean you have to hunt in the swamp...:wink

Make me an offer...LOL
11.) bluecat - 04/07/2015
Gator is good eating. Yum!
12.) Wild Bob - 04/07/2015
How much for Deke and Plot Watchers???
13.) Wild Bob - 04/07/2015
Deerminator...you cetainly do get a cut if you find a home for that stump of cottonwood!

Course, then what would I sit on at my thirty yard station???:cf:

I use an actual metal coffee can to do this in my truck in the winter just tape the lid on with ducktape...then I fill the can with rubbing alcohol and whalla - pull the lid off and light it up...I've got a heat source incase I run myself into a snowy ditch and I'm stranded somewhere.

(Sorry...not gonna ask you how you know...:-))
15.) Deerminator - 04/08/2015
I'd use rum.:tu:

Serious listing here:

I've got a slew of hunting (both archery and rifle) magazinges, State of Montana FWP outdoor mags, and trapping magazines that are looking for a home. Most of these magazines are from 2008 thru 2014. Price is for as many as I can pack in a flat rate box, which is a stack of magazines about 6" high (I have no idea how many that is off hand) for $25.00. If interested, PM me.

List of the magazines:

Eastman's Hunting Journal (both regular rifle editions and the bowhunting journal...I have many of these available)
Outdoorlife (some, not too many of these)
Fur-Fish-Game (some, not too many of these)
Gray's Sporting Journal (many of these)
Montana (MFWP state conservation mag, fair amount of these)
Trapper and Predator Caller (some, not a whole lot of these)
American Trapper (magazine of the NTA, I have many of these)
Bowhunter (some)
Handful of other misc mags such as Pointing Dog, Sports A Field, Field and Stream, Dangerous Game, North American Angler, etc..
19.) bluecat - 04/08/2015
What's the price of toilet paper these days? Just checking.
20.) Swamp Fox - 04/08/2015
How much for Deke and Plot Watchers???
$45 TYD for the Jake Mobile

$135 for each Plotwatcher, or both for $260 (includes shipping)--Two cameras is a great way to cover a whole field edge, long stretches of woods paths, two directions of a shooting lane, etc.

New stuff falling off trucks daily. Be sure to check back.

This is a great magazine. The best outdoor writing being done today, along with fine photography and illustrations/outdoor art. Fiction, essays, memoirs, etc.

If you like reading about hunting and fishing by the fire---reading by the fire, I mean, not hunting and fishing by it--this is what you want in your magazine rack.

They put out several specialty issues each year, including a big game issue, a fishing issue, a bird-hunting issue, and I think a flyfishing issue and a travel issue. If you're kind of a specialist in your reading, ask WB about those.
22.) Swamp Fox - 04/08/2015
Primos Jake Mobile---$45 TYD

The Jake-Mobile Turkey Decoy from Primos is just what you need to bring in both young and old gobblers all season long. The decoy is lifelike in size, color and appearance and will fold up small enough for you to carry it in your turkey vest. The Jake-Mobile comes with the Jake-Mobile decoy, a silk fan, a stake and an instructional DVD.

Pretty sure this is the same one I have. If so, you can put a real fan on the butt. It's a nice decoy. 45.00 would be a good price.
25.) Swamp Fox - 04/08/2015
Yup. It's the same one. Somehow I wound up with two of them.

Primos also makes a gobbler you can use with a silk or real fan. The main difference is a full-sized beard.

This one came with a silk fan as well. I wish I had a full jake fan. It would probably work like a charm. The silk fan will work as well.
27.) bluecat - 04/08/2015
The one you have is the one that is probably going to be the most effective.

Big thighs and butt, tiny breasts, small scruffy beard, just like Hillary.
28.) Swamp Fox - 04/08/2015
You should see if BillyB will shoot a jake for you...He thinks any turkey is about the same as a yard chicken...LOL

Other than that, I'll have to think of forum members with low standards...In hunting, I mean...Not necessarily in general...:wink

Yours came with a silk jake fan, right?
30.) bluecat - 04/09/2015
Yes it did.
31.) Swamp Fox - 04/09/2015
My new project is to get Billy into turkey hunting. I'll tell him you need a jake fan...Wind him up and watch him go.

Plus he can smoke the breasts in the cooker and keep the rest of us entertained...

Spun from the finest silk from Japanese silkworms that have history back to the earliest emperors and kings. :wink
33.) Swamp Fox - 04/09/2015
This morning's hot deal:

Cuddeback Game Viewer

Lightly used. Sturdy, reliable, handy and very compact. It is a little slow to use, but it's the only one I know of that allows you to transfer pics from one card at the trail camera to another that you take away with you if you want. Don't sue me if that is incorrect. I'll try to find a USB cable for it, but at the moment I don't have it in hand. I never felt the need to hook it up to my computer, though.

$50 TYD

34.) Wild Bob - 04/09/2015
Come on Bluecat...surely you have something you want to sell, something that the rest of us might be interested in...what about a jug of that homemade wine???

Or some nude pics of Hillary? Someone would like those I'm sure...:-) Come on man! Anything...

Since there are only like 3 of us using this, if one more posts something, it improves our odds! :tu:
35.) Wild Bob - 04/09/2015
My prediction is that if you do put those pics up for sale or trade...it might pull someone else into the program (not saying WHO mind you...just saying)!
36.) bluecat - 04/09/2015

I have one slightly used turtle for sale. 10.00 TYD. Will trade for some 40 caliber ammo.
37.) Deerminator - 04/09/2015
He looks vicous.

I got some Oneida parts, prolly put a whole bow together. Or I cAN DO It
38.) Swamp Fox - 04/09/2015
What's Wild Bob gonna do with a turtle?

Wait, I don't want to know...

But, anyway, I see him more interested in a chicken with large talons...
39.) Swamp Fox - 04/09/2015
This afternoon's special:

Treestand safety harnesses, the type that come with new treestands. Various brands. Brand new, in the bags.

$15 each, to cover the postage. All profits to Charity.
40.) Swamp Fox - 04/09/2015
Charity is a table dancer at the County Line Bar and Grill...Usually Thursday nights...

Just want to be clear on that...

48.) bluecat - 04/09/2015
Oh, so that's why you like cake so much...gals can't jump out of pies so easily I suppose.
49.) Swamp Fox - 04/09/2015
Not without getting filling everywhere...:shh:

50.) bluecat - 04/10/2015

I've got a pair of "new in box" Columbia cold weather pack boots in size 12. I wear size 10.5-11-sized dress shoe normally so these run a little small. I got this size also to accomodate a thicker pair of socks. Really well made. I'm selling them cause I just have so many cold weather boots I don't need these. 50.00 TYD. Will consider all interesting trades...(Swampy's book of bowhunting secrets volume 7, CrookedEye's 8mm bigfoot footage, Wild Bob's duck hunting paradise guided package, Deerminator's coveted and rare debut album entitled Hey, Check this Shit Out including the hit rendition "Green Sleeves" on tuba).

Also cakes have a built-in lingerie hamper. When the girdle comes off, it goes right back in the cake. No fuss, no muss (what the hell is a muss?). With pies you have all these feathers and panties lying around.
53.) Swamp Fox - 04/10/2015
Also, when you're out someplace and they wheel a huge pie into the room, you're like, "What's with the pie?"
54.) Swamp Fox - 04/10/2015
55.) Wild Bob - 04/10/2015
Blue - now I regret asking for those nude pics... LOL
56.) Wild Bob - 04/10/2015
Good deal on the boots...I'd buy 'em if I needed a pair.

Unfortunately, trading value for the boots would be...a ride out to where we'd go duck hunting. :-)
Just kidding!

58.) Swamp Fox - 04/10/2015
It probably takes a village, if you know what I mean.

But I don't really want to know.

Ask Bill.
59.) Wild Bob - 04/10/2015
Dagnabit! Stop it will ya Bluecat...are you trying to scar me for life!!!

62.) Swamp Fox - 04/10/2015
Your mother told you that would happen, but did you listen?

Nooooo.....

63.) bluecat - 04/13/2015
The amazing thing is that while I was enhancing Hillary's natural beauty, I never once lost conciousness.
64.) Deerminator - 04/13/2015
That is amazing
65.) Wild Bob - 05/05/2015
We got off track there for a while, now come on guys...is this dead ALREADY??? :td:

I know that more of you guys have things to sell or trade besides the stuff Swampy and me come up with. :cf:

I'll offer some prompts: (GG...somebody else help me out here!)

Alex: How about some photographs of (all girl bands may be)...?
Blue: Home made wine? Recipes for...?
Billy: How about trading off some of those mediocre racks that would be huge to others?
Crookedeye: Some commodities in aluminum cans may be?
Luv 2: Dury Brothers Dream Season box set...
Deerminator: Complete book of Cow jokes...
PB: Slightly used lawn mower complete with arrow...
Parker: Complete box set of Parker Wisdom... (Free reloading guide included)
Bob Peck: Concealed carry training...
Grandpa W: Nature photographs...
Toxophilite: UV clothes wash…?
DropZofwild: Rack supplement…?
Hunter: Guided hunt in Texas?
Bullzi: Arrange a meeting with Sasquatch or sell his old Mathews?

:-)
66.) Swamp Fox - 05/05/2015
Those are all good suggestions.

Were you around when the G-Puddles Prevention Kits were hot? I bet there are some guys out there who feel like they don't need them anymore. You, on the otherhand, probably need one badly, being in Montana, which seems like it might be a magnet for the Gster...

I bet you could trade the blueprints for your bait tank for a complete system.

67.) Swamp Fox - 05/05/2015
Luv2 has already told me he's not interested in anything I might offer in exchange for a Pennsylvania turkey hunt...LOL

:wink
68.) bluecat - 05/05/2015
I've got an illustrated guide on where NOT to shoot an arrow at a turkey.
69.) Swamp Fox - 05/05/2015

You really can't beat Norman Rockwell if you're going to have illustrations...
73.) bluecat - 05/05/2015
Mama don't like blood on the nice Sunday linens.
74.) Swamp Fox - 05/05/2015
If you get blood out of that turkey, Grandma's doing something wrong...LOL
75.) Swamp Fox - 05/05/2015
I'll have to go to deep storage if no one's interested in anything so far...I have a bike helmet and an equestrian helmet, a drain snake (used once) a classic Crosman pellet pistol (double action/single action revolver and accurate!) with original box (80's vintage, needs repair) a fax machine, a pair of really good Leupold binoculars I can't seem to find the time to list on ebay (new in the box), all those treestand harnesses...Lots more I can't think of right now...

An old workhorse Canon copier in decent shape and a deer decoy if you want to pick them up...

76.) Swamp Fox - 05/06/2015
Actually, now that I think about it, the Crosman revolver is late-70's vintage. Did you know that a pellet in the head calms a catfish right down, without putting holes or dents in your canoe? In the summers, I would take it down the street to the middle school and practice with it on the big playing field. Prolly get arrested for that today. Good times, good times...

It's in excellent cosmetic and mechanical shape, except that there's a repair that needs to be done to the gas seal. I'd refurb it myself if there weren't already a ton of other items higher on the list.
77.) bluecat - 05/06/2015
I've never heard of a pellet revolver. Pellet guns are fun for sure.
78.) Swamp Fox - 05/06/2015
I've always gotten a lot of giggles out of pellet pistols, at least the decent ones...When there's nothing going on on HuntingCountry at night, I listen outside the house for opportunities to play Porch Possum Potshot...It makes the time go by faster, LOL.

Here's the one I'm talking about--- 38T in .177----plus a little history for your reading pleasure. :-)

79.) bluecat - 05/06/2015
Never seen anything like that. Are C02 cylinders still readily available for this and other pellet guns?
80.) Swamp Fox - 05/06/2015
Oh, yeah. They're easier to find than a lot of ammo, LOL.
81.) Wild Bob - 05/07/2015
Come on Bluecat! You know you want this thing...buy it, come on go on and buy. Yea, buy it! Buy it!:wink
82.) Swamp Fox - 05/14/2015

I'm sure somebody can find a project that this would be just the ticket for: It's an a mounting rail you can use to attach, detach, swap out, and adjust all sorts of stuff on: rod holders, fishfinder mounts, lights, a shooting rest, you name it. Ram, Scotty and anybody who works with rigging stuff on kayaks, boats, ATVs etc. will make stuff for it. If you can dream up how to put a t-bolt mount on something, you can figure out how to mount it to this and give yourself quick-disconnect capability if you want it.

If I had a shooting house, vehicle or treestand I wanted to shoot critters at night from, I'd be mounting some kick-ass lights on this rail monyonna, as they say. I have mounted these on boats and on coolers that go in boats so I could mount spotlights, even jerry-rigged navigation and "cockpit" lights.

I have 2, unused, with the mounting hardware. They are slightly too big for what I have an immediate need for, and I've just been hanging on to them thinking a project would strike me, but so far there's nothing I have time for. I'll let them go for $35 each, TYD.
