OK, now that I've had three months of hunting season involving getting into my vehicle with mud, leaves, dead bugs, etc caked onto my boots I can declare that the Weathertech floor liners I bought for my Frontier were a good investment. They fit like a glove, stay absolutely put and trap not only the mud and debris, but also the soda I spilled on the floor once...keeping it off the carpet and in place as you remove the liners for easy cleaning (a quick hose-down and maybe a little stiff bristle brush treatment.)

A little more expensive than other mats, but worth every nickel IMHO.

I used them for years. you do tell the truth:tu:

Once?

Once?

So it was coffee the other thousand times you spilled something? :wink

I'm always spilling coffee in a vehicle. It's almost like my superpower.

Yeah, but usually the spillage goes right onto my shirt/pants. The "one time" refers to a significant spill in which I sat the cup on the floor for a second, and ended up knocking it over.

I have to keep that sort of thing to an absolute minimum until I get around to deciding which neoprene seat covers to get (it's been a long time since I've had to worry about protecting cloth, as I had leather seats in my previous 2 vehicles...which I kept for 8-10 years each).

I mostly had dead Naugahyde:wink

I remember when Nauga Beasts roamed the plains in great herds...until the value of their vinyl hides was discovered in the early 1970s.

Why is it impossible to find a well-insulated coffee Go cup that 1) is truly leak-proof, 2) you can actually drink from without possessing a weird anatomical structure in your mouth area and/or a third hand and the dexterity of a young woman from Bangkok 3) you like the looks of AND that 4) is capable of being set somewhere in your vehicle when you don't want to hold it in your hands or between your legs.

Also, such a miracle for under $27 would be nice.

I have some floor liners I got from Cabela's for the Broncos and they've been excellent. Cabela's brand, I think, but similar to the Weathertechs. Vehicle-specific and they still had something for 95's at the time I bought, LOL.

Have only ever used cloth seat covers. I always figured neoprene would be hot and unwashable (i.e., stinky) but I don't know. People seem to like them, but I bet they all have AC in their trucks, LOL and run it like the North Pole.

Actually...I have owned just such a miraculous device for the past 15 years or so that I bought at Starbucks. It's a 20 oz insulated stainless steel cup with a screw-on lid that keeps coffee hot for hours. Unfortunately they discontinued it shortly after I bought mine, and I've not seen its equal offered anywhere since. It's going to be a very sad day when the lid gasket finally fails on me and I'm unable to find a replacement.
10.) DParker - 12/24/2015
In fact, here it is....

It really is a marvel of simple but effective engineering. The lid is deeply recessed on top, which prevents minor spills from the sipping hole from dripping down the sides of the cup. And you can see that there are 4 little barriers on the underside of the lid that act somewhat like baffles to prevent swirling liquid from flying around the lid and subsequently flying out of the hole. The black band around the outside is rubber (actually a rubber-like plastic) for a great grip, and there's a textured rubberized disk on the bottom as well. I can't figure out why it was discontinued...unless I'm just one of the few people who recognized how awesome it is.

LOL! Thas what I'm talkin' bout!

I have an Alladin with a heavy-duty snap flap which is pretty good, except that you can tell by the fact that I partially melted the body too close to the stove that it won't hold temp for too long, and I don't have a free cupholder to set it in (it's shaped like a glass, so it can't go anywhere else unchaperoned).

However, nothing else I've seen comes close to the bomb-proof leak protection you can Depends on. (SWIDT?) Naturally: discontinued. I've even tried looking for them on ebay, LOL.

They have a single-serving Thermos-brand Go mug at the grocery store that I'm tempted to try, but two problems: Single serving, which absolutely won't cut it, and costs at least twice as much a person should pay for a coffee cup.

I doubt that you'll regret it. It's not that I've owned a lot of other heavy-duty mats that I can compare them with, but the fit and overall quality is well worth the cost.

It looks like you gnaw on your coffee.

Funny you mentioned these floor mats DP, I bought my wife a set for her Accord. While installing them, I noticed thet they fit PERFECTLY and look like they were installed at the factory. I bought Husky liners for my truck based on price and reviews but the difference between how the Weathertech and Husky fit is night and day. The Husky were about 1/2 price and although they do the job very well and take a beating, the fit is probably worth the cost difference.

Yep. Front passenger side:

Driver's side:

The rear floorboard mat is one-piece. The fit isn't quite "perfect"...but close enough:
