Me: "So you got any meetings out of town today?"

The Wife: "Yep, I got two over in ________."

Me: "Really? In _________."

The Wife: "Yep."

Long pause...

Me: "You know, me and Zach were going to head out to the Cuts fishing on Saturday."

Another long pause....

The Wife: "Oh, go ahead; put your bait bucket on the front passenger floor board of the truck so I don't forget to stop. How many minnows and what size do you want?"

Me: "A dozen large, we're going for some of those pike."

So I gotta toot her horn a bit here; I don't know too many women that while going to work meetings all dressed up would be willing to stop at a stinky old bait shop and pick her husband up some minnows without a fuss. I think she's a keeper. :tu:

That is refreshing, my wife might do it but the whining would be excruciating:wink

LOL...

You better keep an eye on that baitshop guy, WB...He might like a girl with a nice bait bucket.

I believe the applicable phrase here is "a keeper".

Not so fast, fish boy, the question is, does she toot your horn?
6.) Wild Bob - 01/22/2016
Absolutely! :tu:
