Anybody know someone who runs an authorized service center pretty well, and would be willing to answer a few customer service/warranty questions for me?

I'll check back later.

Stay tuned for the story.

This should be good. :fire:
3.) Swamp Fox - 04/25/2016
Oh, it will be good...It's already good...It's just a matter of whether it has a happy ending...
4.) DParker - 04/25/2016
Now you're just trolling.
5.) bluecat - 04/25/2016
Let's see what sort of spin he'll put on this.

All Star Marine Electronics & Archery........214-320-1673 ask for Gary, he's the owner & personal friend of mine, be sure to tell him I gave you his name & number. If he's not there one of the other guys may be able to help you.
7.) Swamp Fox - 04/26/2016
Thanks, Billy!
Thanks, Billy!
Nice to give Billy some "props".
9.) Swamp Fox - 04/26/2016

Three points!

I talked to Billy a couple of weeks ago about wiring this motor before this problem occurred...He probably thinks I blew it up...

That would be a good guess---LOL---but it's not true...:wink

Stay tuned.

It's good that you are on this. You wouldn't want to be idle.
11.) Swamp Fox - 04/26/2016
I've only been working on this for a year...sort of. The project was stalled for a long time.

But now I am propelled to wrap it up.

(Fishing reference alert: "wrapped up," as in fishing line wrapped around your lower unit...which sounds awkward, 'cause it is...LOL...)
12.) bluecat - 04/26/2016
You should always wrap up your lower unit. You never know. You might need a jump.
13.) Swamp Fox - 04/26/2016
My battery isn't the newest, and I worry about it sometimes.

So far, though, it seems to be providing plenty of thrust.

Not that I need a lot...LOL
14.) DParker - 04/26/2016
Make sure your schnitzengruben is in operating condition as well.
15.) bluecat - 04/26/2016
Swampy has maxed out his Minn Kota.

I've been up the creek (lost a NICE catfish last night) but I have a paddle.

Otherwise, I'd be dead in the water...
