I think that's all that really needs to be said on the subject.

You're not talking about this little twerp are you?

I was embarrassed for the Giants last night.

I'd like to see the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, just for the novelty of it. I've almost forgiven them for helping the Vikings beat themselves in Super Bowl IV.

Almost.

Probably can bring myself to pull for the Pack against the Cowboys. That should be a good game.

Matthews created one of...if not THE...best turnovers I've ever seen.

The play in question starts at about the 6:05 mark on the highlight reel above. He not only strips the ball, he runs the 9 or so yds the loose ball travels and then takes it from the clueless Giant who picked it up, knocking the latter on his ass in the process...while a couple of equally clueless GB defenders stand around not realizing that it's still a live ball. One of several instances of Matthews being a 1-man defense.

I saw that play live. I just couldn't turn down a chance to use his expression though.

Ah. BTW, he was also great in Quest For Fire.

:-)

I'm surprised the NFL doesn't have a penalty all lined up for that recovery situation. Maybe next year.

Poor guy was just bending over to pick up the ball to be a nice guy and give it to the official, and BAM!...LOL

You can't even celebrate a TD anymore, so why not start penalizing players for....playing football? I mean, someone could get hurt!
