Anyway, this may be the new thing. Not that it's new new. I'm pretty sure you can find a cave painting of it somewhere. But now it's on Youtube, apparently, which makes it a thing...

I haven't found an exceptionally notable video to post and I don't know how much it's been on outdoor TV because I watch almost none, but if anyone has anything they want to point me to or if anyone even just wants to shoot the breeze about it, I think you can explain your thoughts in a box below.

I had to look it up. Had no idea what it was. I'm still not sure how this is any different than anything else. Find turkey, decoy turkey, shoot turkey.

It involves sneaking up to the turkey or to your position behind a fan, or a deke with a fan. At least I've never heard of it being done with NO fan.

I think some "extreme turkey hunter" must have come up with the term because he thought it sounded awesome...LOL...Or whatever the word for awesome is if that's too 1990's and you're trying to be the new Michael Waddell, all hopped up on Red Bull...

So, if I see a turkey out in a field and strategize how to get close by crawling and using existing cover and then run an arrow through it, I've reaped?

Just curious so I know if I've reaped before reaping was cool.

I think you have to use the fan or it's not reaping. It's bushwacking.

We have antler hats and antelope costumes, right? Somebody could make a lot of money with this...

As a last resort, we could get somebody who's finished making headdresses for Mardi Gras for the year.
