"We're only allowed to sing five of them..."---- :-)

Don't know how I missed this post. Thanks for putting it up! I haven't heard heard this song in a while, but it's always a blast---LOL---and the Dubliners are one of my favorites.

I have heard a few versions that include the last two nights here and there, but I don't know if you can find a good version on youtube. At least I haven't found one I like in the past. I did a quick search just now and I don't think prospects have improved.

But anyhoo...

Wiki has more info if anyone's curious, although it IS Wiki. I've heard the version with the Englishman as the 6th or 7th night more than any other, but sometimes the band thinks it's important to be PC--LOL--especially at a live show, and then I think it's a toss-up what you're likely to hear.

When the Englishman is the sixth night, the seventh is usually instrumental, implying some naughtiness between husband and wife ("Well, I suppose I could stay a bit longer"--- wink wink, nudge nudge---:-)), or it's some version of Never on A Sunday. ---At least that's been my experience.

So now you know. :wink

I have no idea what's going on here, but I'll throw in my $0.02 anyway. I found this on another site a couple of days ago and thought it was pretty cool. A group of Ukrainian guys (and a cute girl or three occasionally) who cover Chicago tunes, and do a damned good job of it. Leonard from The Big Bang Theory is tearin' it up on trumpet.

There are a bunch more if you search YouTube for "Chicago" and "Leonid & Friends".

As far as Leonard goes...LOL
