So much to say; so little time.:fire:

Let's start here:

:groan:

People get in a lot of trouble by not using common sense then devote entire threads on trying to justify their behavior.

It's always good to start off with a transparent lie about your reason for posting.
Want to run a scenario by the group as a hypothetical to maybe settle a disagreement between myself and a friend.
Here's the problem, you go on archerytalk and assume you'll be getting to read stories about people making sense. That's the worst forum of all hunting forums on the innerwebs. Who has the biggest dick and who's got the most post count is the only thing that matters there. That site used to be awesome and it got too big and carried away.
When folks can't deal with reality and have to ask THAT group for their opinion, that's when you know things are methed up in their lives.

I just thought the scenario and the way it was represented by the OP was a laugh riot... A lot of the response are ok, at least early on. Not deep thinking, genius stuff-----or hammer-to-anvil to the OP---but OK.

I'm sure they get more unhinged deeper in the thread ... LOL

I'm thinking about going on some other forums just to stir up some shit ... I miss the old days ...

Tree saddles, what to wear on your hands in hot weather, commercialism, how to carry your pack into the woods, the worst hunting show ... It's a goldmine out there!

LOL

From the OP in the original post, after about six pages:

LOL ...

Then there were three more pages of people who hadn't read the thread, continuing to offer advice ...

I read this crap so you don't have to.

Different forum:

Just want to leave this here for Luv2. (This is not my post, LOL)
Re: National Forest Mountain Buck Hunting
Unread post by _______ Fri Sep 13, 2019 5:52 am

Here in Western Va we use Mules to access the hard to reach places. It’s not thought of hardly any in the east. People think horses and mules is a out west thing but it makes us a lot more efficient and rested hunters. 2 years ago I killed a buck 3 miles from the truck way back on a NF mountain and I was only 100 yards from my mule.
Don't ask me about the timestamp. No idea.
