Fast follow-up shots on moving game in North America? ... Already got that covered, at least in the free states.

... Or you'll be crucified for saying you take them.

Accuracy?

Plus it's butt-ugly.

Let me know if you want any more of my thoughts ...

LOL ...

Aber vielen dank ... :wink

I don't know. I can see it having appeal for hunting game like hogs where semiautos are verboten for that purpose. Plus it's just kind of fun to be able to say you've finally caught up to the Swiss in bolt-action designs.
4.) Swamp Fox - 01/06/2021
Swiss ...miss ... :omg: :wink

If semi's are off the table, levers are not. The only thing this gives you is some capability with longer-range calibers/pointed bullets, which as you know is already adequately addressed in modern levers..... or by a semi-competent rifleman with a traditional bolt-action.

5.) Swamp Fox - 01/06/2021
Okay... Not saying this action might not be inherently more accurate than a lever, which is --on the scale-- problematic.

But show me, at real-world ranges and circumstances.

All other things being equal, a bolt gun still gives you some other advantages too, like not being terribly awkward to use while shooting prone with a bipod. I'm not saying it's addressing any previously unsolvable issues, but I also don't see any reason to dislike the idea of a bolt gun that allows you to chamber the next round a little faster, and with a simplified motion.

Except that this one is butt-ugly ... You forgot that .... :wink

Haven't looked into pricing, either, but the straight-pull rifles I've seen in the past are a little spendy, to deal with all the extra commotion that is going on inside.
8.) bluecat - 01/06/2021
So would this be a good biathalon gun?
9.) bluecat - 01/06/2021
Can I say biathalon?
10.) DParker - 01/06/2021
"Did you say she's a biathlete, or a bi athlete?"
11.) bluecat - 01/06/2021
Are you bicurious?
