Before the rumors get started, I would like to say that this is not a high-fence deer.

This guy came tromping by around noon on Friday. I was trying to stay awake as I'd been there since sunrise. He saw my decoy and stood 6 yards from me facing away at the decoy. I drew and waited. He was in no hurry and I started getting tired. I lowered my shoulder and rested the cam on my knee. Finally, he turned enough that I was able to deliver. Ran twenty yards and was done. Beautiful morning. Was appreciative of the experience.

DP, the pics are courtesy of my new Galaxy S21 which I still don't know much about. My S5 was having problems and wanted to upgrade to something a little nicer. Unless you buy a used phone you pretty much have to buy the latest, which I didn't really want to do.

Excellent! And once again, I'm jealous. Between projects at the new house and trying to get the old one ready for whatever we're going to do with it I haven't even had a chance to get into the woods yet.

But yeah, the cameras on the new phones have become ridiculously good. And yet I still somehow manage to take out-of-focus pics. Yours look good though.
