I'm still making paracord items. I also make monkey fists, which is paracord wrapped around a 1" steel ball bearing.
Place your little finger between the loop formed between the last two diamond knots and grasp the cord. You have a personal self-defense close quarters weapon you can carry in your pocket.

Bow Slings
I have expanded my color selection. There are fifty-five bow slings to choose from and more if you start mixing and matching collar styles and colors. Let me know if I can help you.

I'll give Hunting Country members a discount and free shipping till the rest of turkey season (May 31st). Just PM me.

Now, beaver balls or great green globs of greasy, grimey gopher guts I would have understood...

You know, one thing I like about your website is that you can actually tell the difference between the various braid styles. I've bought from two or maybe three other sites (before you started making slings, of course :-)) and I couldn't really tell the difference between this cobra or that cobra from the pictures ---I just crossed my fingers and hoped I was getting what I got last time.

That herringbone sling you do is wicked cool, btw...

(I used to know a guy from Boston, so I can say that...LOL)

Did you ever ask him to say "Park the Car"?

The reality is as that if you like a braid that is stiff, i.e. will hold its shape while you are on stand thus allowing you to put your hand in while watching bambi, you really need to check out the snake braid. That thing is pretty cool. It is stiff as a board. The bad side is it takes an hour just to braid the collar. :WeirdGnarledUpFingersIcon

It's been kinda fun exploring the different braids and knots. I love knots especially and have a knot book by my computer. When I go turkey hunting I take my knot book with me and some paracord and work on various knots. Yeah, I'm weird.

BTW, Swampy your check is in the mail.
9.) Swamp Fox - 04/30/2013
LOL...I'd type on HuntingCountry for free, really...

You should see me try to tie a knot I haven't done in a while...Even with pictures and a book/website...

:re:

Sometimes I even get cornfused with knots I "supposedly" tie all the time.

I was trying to relearn a knot a few weeks ago and almost posted about the experience, LOL...

Swampy, standing on a virtual e-street corner with a sign: "Will post for deer corn."
12.) Ventilator - 04/30/2013
Dp, thats pretty funny! Considering the fact deer corn was 15 bucks a 50lb bag last fall. Barely even put any in feeders because of it.

OF course, camp swampy feeders were only for picture taking anyways.lol

But, then again, all we did for the last three years was miss and take pictures anyhow.
:wink

This is one reason why I don't come on much, that's all I see on here anymore.

You need to get your hands on some compromising photos of your network administrator.

What are the other reasons? I was just about to post an APB on you.

There are Highlights and Boys Life magazines from 1978 to read while you wait on threads you can participate in.

In my younger forum days I would've told you. But I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

Life is too short for spilled milk and coffee from the convenience store that is so hot, you can't even drink it for about 62 miles.

My point was, Byrdman,

you need to pull yourself up by the bootstraps, quite gunching and complaining and get on in here like the rest of us sods. Don't just come in here in the spring like an annual "swallows back to capistrano" kinda of a deal.

Okay, the real reason is we miss you. There I said it. Now what was the score of the Bears game last night?

Luv2, it's the scene where Chief Lone Watie tells Josie Wales, "All I have is a piece of hard rock candy. But it's not for eatin'...It's just fer lookin' through..."

:-)
21.) bluecat - 06/10/2013
Added several more colors. This one is black and gold. If you like a really stiff collar the snake braid is the one for you. It won't collapse.

Check them all out. www.kansasbowslings.com
