We used to subscribe to Bon Appétite magazine...way back before the whole stupid "foodie" thing (and when people actually read magazines). In spite of the hoity-toity sounding name they always had a lot of good, practical recipes for a wide variety of stuff. Now...they're dead to me. DEAD, I tell you!!

Hormel Chili only came in at #3????

That stuff used to be a mainstay!!

Obviously, Danielle is living a sheltered existence up there in ....New York City?!?!...Because everyone who wouldn't be caught dead in a Food Emporium knows that Armour is the best canned chili.
:-)
And organic/vegetarian chili? Harrumph! Next they'll be saying Dinty Moore beef stew is no good for you.

The only acceptable canned chili is this one...

And even then usually only for mixing with melted cheese so you have something to drag "Scoop" sized Fritos through....with special dispensation in extreme cases when it's cold, you just have to have a bowl of red and you don't have time to cook.
