I just realized I'm not getting emails from my Ebay Saved Searches, and haven't been for a long time. I used to get some hits every day. WTF and how do I fix it? ---LOL (BTW, Ebay shows I "am" receiving emails. They are not in my spam folder. Looked there already.)

Second question:

Why is that I can't find a phone number or even an email address for Yahoo mail customer support? Their electronic so-called Help system is literally a dead end. I need a way to break through freakin' cyberspace and grab some young twerp by the throat and shake...

Just so that no one thinks that this is a rhetorical question, I really do need help contacting them.
3.) Go Bucks - 06/28/2013
EBay... change your email lately?

I thought those alerts can expire. Maybe not

I'm on my phone and don't have the full Yahoo site in front of me, but the mobile mail app has a Help option that includes a link to a "Contact Customer Care" function. I'd think there's similar access on the full website.
5.) Swamp Fox - 06/28/2013
Pretty sure they did away with expiration dates on the ebay searches. In any event, if I look at the list of my searches they all note "Receiving emails." In the past, if something expired, they would not show that message. I'm concerned that some filter changed months ago without me realizing it.

Yahoo puts me in a loop or deadend when they force me to fill out an electronic form ("There are no other support options for your question"), which is what you get under any Help button I've seen. They tell you they are backed up with "unusual call volume" and suggest emailing them, but there is no sign of a phone number that they're getting all these calls on, and certainly no email address to use.
6.) Swamp Fox - 06/28/2013
Starting to think there are no actual people working at Yahoo, just a bunch of wires and maybe some chimps typing randomly in a big room or maybe a basement, until they accidentally spit out something trivial but approaching English that they can pass off as "Yahoo News."

Question Three:

Don't huge companies know their on-hold music is scratchy and sounds like it's being played over a 1970 personal tape recorder?

They should be embarrassed.
8.) Swamp Fox - 06/28/2013
At least you can reach someone by phone at ebay (after a long wait). They've always been pretty good, but you have to nail them down to make sure they're giving you the right answer...That is, the answer to the question you're really asking, not the answer to the question they have in their playbook, LOL. They're almost as bad as Microsoft and that bunch on that score.

They told me to check my email tomorrow...That was their response, LOL. I hope the guy behind the curtain threw a switch or something, because I'd hate to be the guy I get on the phone in the morning if nothing's better. :wink

I have a question.

How do I keep the pesky catbirds from eating my black raspberries? The suckers are quite good at doing a slow fly-bye and swiping the ripe ones.

Also for CRoOkeDEyE, there's roofers on the ledge outside my office. Should they have their shirts off so early in the morning? The tatoos look homemade or something their kid scribbled on them this morning before they left for work.
12.) luv2bowhunt - 06/28/2013
Wow, almost made eye contact with one through the window. That was close. Obviously we didn't require a background check before we hired them.

....why does each one need a bandana? Must be a gang ritual thing.

The short scary looking one is waving his arms and dropping the "f" bomb every other word. No worries though, the others do not seem to be intimidated by his idle threats.

Thanks, Ted. Unfortunately, I've already been down that path. I'll dig around a little more at your link, but so far I've come up snake-eyes there, at least on the specific questions I have. The phone number tells you that if you are looking for technical support, please go to the website...Which seems to be a dead end...

If I could have figured out what I needed from the website, I wouldn't be trying to find someone live to talk to...LOL :bang:
15.) Swamp Fox - 06/28/2013
LOL, Luv2....Glad you got a good night's sleep last night. Have another cup of coffee, or an energy drink if you're cool enough.

Luv2, I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Jesus loves you. That bad news is the short scary looking one that is waving his arms and dropping the "f" bomb every other word, is Jesus.

Luv2, as far as the birds, use what we use to keep them out of the blueberries, a 12 ga!

no, its policy at least with are company that all tatoos must only be shown from the elbow down..are they a reputable business? do they look dangerous? do they look like they graduated from 6th grade?? take a closer look.. if they have teeth missing there probally experience roofers, and not terroist. if youre not sure call 911..
19.) crookedeye - 06/29/2013
another sign you can look for in a roofer is..greasy long hair, smells of cheap whiskey and has tennis shoes on..thats youre typical roofer..with a 3rd grade education. them are the smart ones..
20.) crookedeye - 06/29/2013
who whouldnt want to be a roofer?? you know youre 19 see a add in the paper you could be making 10 dollars an hour working outdoors..it would be like where do i sign up!
