I got my eye on some nice bucks this season, and couple good stands for myself and my hunting partner deerminator, BTW I can't believe we got picked for the same team but glad we were, D is going to need some help this year what with his slow but steady recovery.

I'm here with bells on. The Doc says that I really won't start getting my strength back till after the chemo is done. That's about 6 weeks from now. Second to last treatment is this Tuesday. Ill jump one from behind a tree if I have to.:wink

Haven't checked my camera's in a couple weeks, but have been seeing a few good ones in the fields at dusk/dawn.

You guys remember that big 6 I chased last year? Well, this year he's still a 6, and just a friggin' M O N S T E R. I can't wait to get in the woods.....

Season opens Oct. 1 here. When do you guys get to start?
4.) Deerminator - 08/23/2013
Toxo and I can start Sept 27th and catch the last of last years tag to the 30th.
Our regular 2013 season opens on Oct 1st as well.
By the way Sept 27th is my birthday ( I'll be 59 ), and the last time deer season will open on that date cause our Governor will be changing things starting next year.
I remember that big 6 you mentioned. Ask Toxo about his 6pt jinks.......good story that haunts him till this very day.

Glad Toxo and Deerminator are on the same team. Toxo, thanks for being such a good friend to Deerminator.

Season starts here on September 15th and lasts through December 31st.

Shall our mantra be "Four on the Floor"?
7.) Deerminator - 08/23/2013

Nice pics Tox!

My camera's, both of them, took a dump on me. No pics in 3 weeks. :(
12.) toxophilite - 09/17/2013
the batteries never last as long as advertised and if the camera fails it always happens right after the warranties have run out :td: I have 7 cams from several companies and had trouble with all of them at one time or another, just put out two today, that gives me 4 in the field with 3 down for repair. but the info I learn from them really does help when it comes time to pick a stand :tu: of course being retired I do have the time to document times, dates, wind direction and weather conditions, even the moon phases :re:

actually my first chance on a doe this season, 25 yd. shot and she went 150 yds but left a massive blood trail :tu:

Nice job buddy, congrats!!
15.) bluecat - 11/15/2013
Dang, my deer would have fit inside of your deer.

Good job teammates!
16.) bluecat - 11/15/2013
The worst part of cleaning my deer was cutting around the after-birth.

Saw it last night. It is a big doe. Hope he remembers to age it before he leaves the bucher's.
