NO! I'm not talking about Valentine’s Day either...I'm talking about time to start planning for what tags to put in for.

I'm kind of stoked...I've got a couple of Elk preference points, couple a sheep, and one point Antelope: this coming fall could be a big year for getting to hunt in the units I really want to hunt in... (well, at least there is always hope!)

So who all is putting in for what and where???

Ky elk again

I might start trying for a tag in Iowa

Good luck, I've never hunted in Iowa...but I've driven through it a couple of times and it looks like some nice whitetail country.

When we drove through Iowa on the way to/from vacation in Wisconsin we saw more big deer on the side of the highway than I've ever seen (of any size) in the woods here.

Is like to put in for mountain lion in MT but I don't see me being able to afford it unless I didn't get drawn for 5+ years.

Good luck on the tags. I'll just be doing my boring old PA hunts. Just going to try not to blow out any knees or shoulders or anything else while I'm out there.:tu:

Colorado elk! Going for a draw unit with good success rates, or go OTC if I dont get it.

Too easy.:-)

I put in for WY elk. It's not a great area but free room and board at my sisters place!

Good luck TR - some of the best hunts I've had have been in less sought after units...there's something to be said for places that every Tom, Dick, and Harry aren't trying to hunt, and looking at the bright side you've got free R&B!
