I like slow motion. I like ARs. But them together, and I like them a lot.

I'm a big fan of the slow mo guys. Cool video of the AR

Did you check out the flash and how much that rifled moved?
4.) DParker - 02/19/2014
Someone needs to make an upper with a replaceable hard rubber case deflector instead of the aluminum bump that is standard. I really hate the dents it puts in the brass that I reload.
5.) Jon - 02/19/2014
Who knew that was an assault weapon?
6.) Floyd - 02/19/2014
Buy an upper without it.

Remove the one you have.

Wait, you left handed? By a left handed upper without the brass deflector and a brass catcher.

When I entered the Army the M16s did not have a brass deflector (bump) fixed to/on the rifle. If you shoot left handed back then, you use a plastic brass deflected that to clipped onto the rifle. Because lefties would get their brass hitting themselves in the shoulder.

Other than that, one buttons up their collars, wear eye pro, gloves and helmet when brass is flying; with or without brass deflectors.

After the rubber bump, you'll want a brass catcher. Rocks, concrete pads, people stepping on the brass and other hard objects dent them has well when they land.

The British - who knew that if you speak with a British accent , you can say anything.

I already have a brass catcher, but am not willing to switch to a left-handed upper...especially given that it would put the brass catcher directly in front of my face.

Floyd, remember going to the range when 100 guys all qualified/trained together? I used to try my darndest to be all the way on the left end so I didn't get hot brass launched down my neck. Hated that feeling when you're all trained on the x and the guy next to you pops off a round and the brass lands directly on the back of your neck.

There's nothing more entertaining...for multiple reasons...than watching a woman wear a low-cut blouse to her first outing at the pistol range.

I said without the two. "...without the brass deflector and a brass catcher." If your left handed and you shoot a left handed upper, you don't need either.

Just a soft fluffy spot for your brass to land. Don't let then damn things hit each other either. You'll just get more dent's and scratched and what not.

I hate dirty brass. It's so dirty.

Ah, missed that part. I'm not a lefty though.

If it weren't for dirty brass I wouldn't have been able to justify buying this toy for my bench...

We had to button up. Still, one would get lucky. One time I was shooting, the guy to my left, brass would hit my helmet every time. You just keep shooting. No body really pissed and moaned about it; except the sweeties that piss and moaned.

I've done a little research on the flash hiders for Swampy. Seems, that most like the Smith Vortex or similar types of flash hiders.

Oh no, no, no, BULL-i is a saquatch. You must be more forceful.

Take that bull by the horns. Tell him to add some. And don't take any guff from him.
