Former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg dug into his sofa cushions and found $50 million to spend on his attempt to "take on the NRA" (and inflate his already gargantuan ego) with his newly-spawned astroturf "Every Town For Gun Safety". This is the quality of the propaganda that investment is buying him so far...

Apparently all of my firearms are defective, as they're actually separating the bullet from the brass, and ejecting the latter from a completely different place.

These clowns presuming to lecture the country on "gun safety" is like someone who has never driven a car and has no idea how they work lecturing on driving safety.

It reminds me of this classic from AFP during the last Gulf War:

This is why we don't just need firearms education...We need firearms virgin education...

I guess they're gonna have to close that facebook page down now...and fire that graphic designer and his or her supervisor...LOL

Nutjobs!! :bang:
6.) Swamp Fox - 04/21/2014
Apparently 50 million big ones doesn't buy much in the way of research, useful information or straightforward reporting, either.

In the interest of ginning up some activity/forum recovery here on the board, I Obama-invested some time looking into the claim on the Bloomberg site that there had been over 60 "school shootings" since Sandy Hook. That is to say, I spent and wasted precious resources looking up various shootings listed on the site to get the actual details.

Did you know that shootings over drugs or a girl or some hoops qualify as "school-shootings" regardless of whether the scholars involved were students, gang members or just random dirtbags off the street? Well, according to seven of the eight Bloomberg cases I looked at, they do...After that, I got tired of confirming my suspicion that gun control agitators don't mind just making shit up.

This item (cited by Bloomberg as one of the 60 + incidents) and the anti-gun commentary that goes with it, is typical:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/25/us/sc-state-shooting/index.html

That one was actually a (college) student shooting another (college) student. But this type of shooting is also supposed to be a "school shooting":

http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/2-Charged-in-Fatal-Shooting-Outside-Chicago-State-University-187576521.html

Neither incident is comparable to Sandy Hook, other than the solution/fact that going after law-abiding gun owners for the misdeeds of thugs, hot-heads and nutjobs never seems to get old for these people...

Oh, yeah...that one was thoroughly debunked multiple times. Their "reported" included as "school shootings" suicides, guns that were brandished (but never actually fired) and several shootings that technically occurred on school property but in the evening when the schools were closed (for instance, in parking lots or unfenced basketball court)...as well as those that occurred OFF school property, and merely nearby the school.

Also included was this particular case of a dead body that was found in the parking lot of a school in the TN town where I attended high school:

Ironically, I almost always had a shotgun in the trunk of my car in the school parking lot.

At some point, people will wake up and figure out what our media and administration is doing right? right?

Oh, so NOW you tell me...

No wonder I'd never it before. But then, you'd think they'd stop using it...Well, maybe not. :re:

Are you kidding? Do you remember how many times the Obama admin (including the Prez himself) continued to repeat the "40% of gun sales are conducted without a background check" clap-trap well after it had been exposed as a baseless claim by multiple mainstream news agencies? Ditto the "90% of Mexican drug cartels' guns come from U.S. guns stores" claim.
12.) Swamp Fox - 04/21/2014
Huh...If that's true, it makes you wonder what else they're lying about...:cf:

I've long since abandoned "wondering" and replaced it with "assuming". It saves me all kinds of time and effort.
14.) Swamp Fox - 04/21/2014
Oh, it's really no effort...LOL
15.) Deerminator - 04/22/2014
Is the huge amount of this type of stupidity being used against these nutjobs?

You don't see this kind of ridiculous material exposed in the Newspapers or TV or on the Today show.
Not even close to the amount of air time or page space the press and media give to the anti's..
What's up with that?

You guys are cutting pretty hard on the fellow on the right. He has built quite a resume in his life and you have no right to judge what all he has done.

For example, he has read the entire Twilight series. Is known by the affectionate name of "skeeter" down at the coffee house where you can see him and his laptop as he twits and tweets and facebooks his experiences of several places he has read about. Has a cat named "buttons" which he has trained to come to the sound of the electric can opener. He once went out on a blind date but it ended with her going to the powder room and never returning. The nerve. Has an Archie comic book collection that he inherited from his late uncle who died in the war. His hands are a soft as a kittens ear. Once had his car jumpstarted by a scary man who hadn't shaved in a day.

The guy on the left will drink out of any container, is unkempt and is not an "autumn" as the picture indicates. He doesn't look like he could be trusted. Probably gets up early in the morning too. Boo.
17.) Swamp Fox - 04/22/2014
LOL...

I had to look up what an autumn was...

No, it's true. Should I be embarrassed?

I don't keep up with the crazy kids and their tweeter talk.

I speak jive, though...
