1.) Wild Bob - 07/21/2014
We celebrated my youngest son's 10th birthday this past weekend...and he got (as he terms it) his 'first real bow that isn't kids stuff.' I think the expressions on his face say it all!

We narrowed the choice of bow down to 2 models/brands: it was either the Diamond Infinity or the Bear Apprentice 3. Several factors pushed our decision in the direction of the Apprentice 3 including but not limited to; specifics of each bow in regards to his physic, local availability / support, and overall price of total bow with accessories.

I am certain that he would have been thrilled with either bow...and now he just wants to shoot all he can. The best part about all this is that now he can shoot with Dad in the evenings, and as he puts it - "My arrows actually stick in the target bag now!" The other cool thing is that he is already counting the time until he can take his hunting safety course and his bow safety course.

Fun, fun, fun from here on...it's really neat to help fuel his excitement!

Yea, I know... and I'm just not sure if I will be able to pass on my love for vintage archery equipment to him. :re:

10.) Wild Bob - 07/23/2014
Thanks guys, to say that he is happy and enjoying it would be an understatment. His new thing is that he doesn't want to wait all day until each evening to shoot, so now he gets up early so that he can shoot while I have my morning coffee in the back yard before work...and that is pretty cool because he is not a morning person! Then we shoot together as usual in the evening after dinner. :tu:
