Just goes to prove if you're sick and intent on hurting people you don't need a gun to do bad things.

2.) billy b - 11/04/2015
I suspect it's already in the pipeline, you can't have everybody running around with one of those dangerous things, some people even conceal em in their pockets.:re::bang:
3.) Swamp Fox - 11/04/2015
Oh, yeah...It's been floated here. Sharpton comes to mind.

Also, it should be right up Obama's alley, since he loves what Britain and Australia have done.

The surprising thing about these two articles is not that there's been a call for knife control in Britain, but that there's anything close to 10 people in that nation that you could call chefs...:wink

British doctors are calling for a ban on kitchen knives to prevent stabbing incidents. A West Middlesex University Hospital group contends that violent crime is increasing in Great Britain and kitchen knives are used in approximately half of all stabbings. The team claims that many of the knife attacks are impulsive acts and that a kitchen knife is too convenient of a weapon.

The British medical team discussed the kitchen knife stabbing problem with a group of 10 renowned chefs, according to Front Page Mag. The United Kingdom chefs reportedly noted that kitchen knives have little practical application in culinary endeavors. Apparently, the cooking experts feel that a short blade works just as well as a long one when a sharp tip is needed.

4.) Wild Bob - 11/04/2015
Heck Bob, they already are controlling knife sales and making people get 'Certified' to own knives in the West Bank area and in Israel. It's bizarre...

And now this deal going on in Chicago...it certainly won’t help

I don't know.
Bugger off!!!
Do the chefs say "bugger off" to length restrictions, then? What do we do about slashers with DP's knife? Seems like this is picking on the pokers and the stickers...A clear case of cutlery profiling...

FINGER LICKING GOOD!

If we'd legalize chicken, a lot of this stuff would stop.
13.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
Police are saying it is a case of salt and batter with intent to grill.

DAMN THOSE 11 SECRET HERBS AND SPICES!
17.) Swamp Fox - 11/05/2015
They thought they were fighting over different herbs...LOL...

The local KFC manager told police that an attractive taco belle had driven a wedge between the two men, and fingered Rivera as the killer.

He said the company was going to honor the dead man as a loyal customer by naming an award after him. Since "Darwin Perez Gonzalez" is hard to engrave or even Sharpie on even an up-size cup, the prize will simply be called the Darwin Award.
18.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
Reinaldo had a bone to pick with Darwin.
19.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
Those that witnessed the knifeing said that Reinaldo shouted at Darwin who then replied "Cluck You".
20.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
Reinaldo said that he was stabbing until the juices ran clear.
If we'd legalize chicken, a lot of this stuff would stop.
You're right, chicken is a gateway entree. Next thing you know, chef/criminals are making reduction sauces and deglazing their 18/10 stainless steel All Clad unregistered cookware.
24.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
Police who arrived at the scene realized something was afowl when they saw the deboned chicken.
25.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
Some of the liberal bystanders who were picketting a small mom and pop market in the area threw down their (Eat Less Everything) signs and started running around like their heads were cut off when they saw the two men squaring off.
26.) Wild Bob - 11/05/2015
I here by crown you guys the 'HC Daily Show.' :-)
27.) Swamp Fox - 11/05/2015
LOL...

This is what it looks like when you're on a roll...:beer:
28.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
I wonder why Reinaldo's feathers got so ruffled? Maybe Darwin pronounced herb the way Martha Stewart does. You know, with a hard 'h'.

Them's fighten' words.
29.) Swamp Fox - 11/05/2015
You wonder if Darwin was a leg or a thigh man...And didn't apologize for it.
30.) bluecat - 11/05/2015
What really sticks in my craw is the fact that you can go to these so called [air quote gesture] cookware parties [end air quote gesture] and pick up (without any regulation mind you) an egg timer, a signed copy of the Flaming Gourmet, spatula and maybe a pastry brush.

If we could regulate that I know we could reduce the amount of kitchen violence by at least 40%.
You wonder if Darwin was a leg or a thigh man...And didn't apologize for it.
I imagine once they moved to the parking lot with the last piece of chicken, Darwin said, "May the breast man win."

A man named Reinaldo once boasted

He loved chickens mucho more so than most did.

You got an impression

That caused him depression.

He meant fried, extra crispy or roasted.

Don't bawk bawk baccaw at offering suggestions to help me clean up the cadence of the second line...I've got a syllable count and inflection issue before it reaches limerick perfection...But I figured for HuntingCountry, this was good enough, LOL...

Edit: I cleaned it up a little 11/6/15...I hope everyone enjoys it even more now...LOL

I'd say, "Shut up and entertain me, like you're paid to do", but she can't even manage to appear in a good movie.

I've seen that before.

Also, I sometimes get ' when I type " for quotation marks. I think it's just on this site, but can't be sure. Also not sure it happens on both laptops. Hmmmm.....It only happens on the first mark, not on the second.
