Just got my new Yamaha hunting buggy from the customs shop! Had a six inch lift , oversize knobby tires, lights , Reese hitch and folding rear seat/bed combo. Had a body shop paint a flat smoke grey paint job. All that's left is to install kolpin bow/gun holders on the rear side bars. Looking forward to getting some blood on it at our new SC lease. They have a no gas vehicle rule in place. With 2200 acres, I decided to go ahead and buy one . Wanted one a while anyway. Anyone else use electric vehicles?

TulipTreeOFlage
12.) Ventilator - 10/09/2013
Special southern tree pattern.

Actually, i dont recall seeing any poplar trees in KS come to think of it. All the oak leaves on the ground were crispy and too hard to trace. Since im no arteest, and CE wasnt here, I went with poplar leaf pattern.

Dont be jealous.
13.) bluecat - 10/09/2013
We do have poplar trees. The tulip tree that you patterned your camoflage is a type of poplar. We have tulip trees but I don't believe they are native.

The trees in Kansas are very hardy and tough. Much different than the sissy trees of the south that require constant sunshine and constant care. :wink

That's exactly what I heard from the kids today. Then it was "hey dad, we took care of all those small trees in the field. This thing is awesome! "

Got a few new scratches now!

Uhhhh. Yamaha? Looks to me like they repainted a 1990s golf cart.. it even has the side holder for the divot patch mix
19.) Dan-o - 10/10/2013
I would love to have one of them if I had the right property to use it. Looking forward to seeing how well it performs and how the batteries hold up.

Its actually a 2010 model. The shop bought several of them from a nearby course as the upgrade every 3 years. It should get a good workout this weekend. Leaving after work to take kids down to the lease.
I don't think Dan noticed that you called him a Texan. I'm one so whats wrond with that????
I noticed. I'm just getting too old care about the grade school crap. I had the time and patience for it when I was raising my own kids, but they're both adults now and have outgrown it themselves. There's simply no reason for me to continue paying any attention to that sort of nonsense. It was my mistake for bothering to respond to it. I should know better.
49.) Ventilator - 10/14/2013
Huh???? What's wrong with Texan? I thought that was what people from Texas were referred to as.

Point was , I was surprised anyone from Texas, or the south , had any issue with what I said. I still don't see the big deal. Y'all surprise me.
