I can't believe Alex didn't mention this. Interesting.

A supernova goes off in the M82 Galaxy.

5.) luv2bowhunt - 01/23/2014
Alex only would have mentioned this, if he felt destruction of the earth was an imminent side effect.

Now that I have a grandchild I'm pretty sure I have something that goes off with the pull of a finger.

If that were the case, I wouldn't have any kids.

Ever hear of an ALDO, nova:hb:

.....

Honestly, I don't know what the purpose of having a pistol grip on a shotgun is it without a short barrel and being set up for close quarters work...you can reach out there and thump your target on the head with that thing. Just saying...:-)

For me, a pistol grip makes any long gun more comfortable to shoot and easier to shoulder correctly. It also enhances controllability of the weapon. I have one on my Mossberg 12 ga as part of the telescoping, recoil-reducing Knoxx stock I put on it and I couldn't be happier with it. Yeah, it's but ugly...but the birds, bunnies and squirrels haven't noticed.

I also replaced the tupperware stock on my Savage 110 with a laminated thumbhole stock, which provides about the same grip angle as a pistol grip...and it's far more ergonomic to use...and actually looks good.
12.) Deerminator - 01/24/2014
I don't think I'm allowed to have a pistol grip on any long gun. ( NYS ):bang::tap::rage:
13.) Swamp Fox - 01/24/2014
That's because they're dangerous.

It's a good thing you're not an extremist or you wouldn't be welcome in your own state.
14.) Deerminator - 01/24/2014
Define extream. After all ya never know how far too far is untill ya get there.
15.) Swamp Fox - 01/24/2014
LOL...There is some truth to that...Although I believe some people are waking up these days to at least a few versions of "too far" that they should have seen coming.

You can ask your governor what his version of extreme is. He seems to be having a bit of a problem with that right now, so expect various answers over time. Apparently, representatives of "conservative extremists" aren't welcome in NY. (Note to myself: Contemplate whether "conservative extremist " is like "jumbo shrimp," or going on a snipe hunt.) In a glaring omission I'm sure he's embarrassed about, Mr. Cuomo makes no mention of "liberal extremists." And probably never has.

Ya can't believe how screwy things are up here right now with all the new laws.
And the law suits. Some laws are inforced some are publicly denounced by law inforcement.
No pistol grip and not one on the front either.
Mag capacity is still kinda undefined. I think I can load 10 in a pistol but not in a long gun, not really sure.
CRAZY UP HERE

The 7-round limit was struck down in favor of a 10-round one (which is every bit as arbitrary), and the same limit applies to long guns.
Define extream.
To the Cuomos and DeBlasios of the world it means you think that the government adhering to constitutional constraints is a pretty good idea.
