One degree with the wind chill tomorrow morning.

I predict it will not be a good day to squirrel hunt.

I tried to go on Monday before the front came through. Zip, Zilch, Nada.

I forgot it was a holiday, and there were plenty of tree huggers and teenage dope fiends out. Even some bird hunters. Temps in the 60s felt good, but I guess the squirrels had had enough by the time I got in the woods.

I'm looking forward to temps in the forties in a few days, if you can imagine...:re:

C'mon, April!

What do you mean Swampy?

You can't do anything about the weather? That's strange????

Billy would say to suck it up and get out in it.

As I said earlier, I'm moving to Ukraine, but not in January and February!

Anybody know much about Belize?
4.) luv2bowhunt - 01/23/2014
One degree above.........you're lucky.

Up here we dream of the days that hit one degree.

Belize is warmer. Also, things are a bit "tense" in Urkaine at the moment, so it's good that you're not in a hurry.

Here's a challenge for you Swampy. With a big pay off. Billionaire offers $120 Million to marry is his daughter.

They're not cracking down on the pole dancing as far as I know, so as soon as the weather breaks, I'm outta here!

:wink

LOL...

True story: A friend of mine had a client who was very wealthy and had a single daughter. This was when I was in my 20's and stupid enough to allow myself be set up every once in a while. My buddy and I are hanging out and all he can talk about is this client and his daughter. I know what's coming, but all I'm hearing so far is how she's a good cook (and of course what her net worth will be when Dad kicks the bucket).

Finally, my buddy comes right out and says it: "You should meet her."

For some reason, expressing my discomfort at getting fixed up took second place (as it sometimes did back then) to asking, "What does she look like?"

My buddy paused for just half a second and said, "Chris...Six million dollars! That's a lot of hunting and fishing!"

:buds:

A big woman will shade you in the summer and warm you in the winter. What more can you ask for?
13.) Floyd - 01/23/2014
I'm thinking she said, "No way Jose."
14.) Swamp Fox - 01/23/2014
LOL...

I didn't pursue it. I'd figured out the code by then.

The laughter. It was the laughter that gave it away.

I mean, you can't keep a good man down.

One New Years resolution I made back in the late 80's was to not shack up with a woman who weighs more than me. It worked out too
