5.) LoganCrane - 03/06/2013
Damn nice STI bud, they are some shootin pistols. I carry a Wilson CQB Compact and I recently picked up a Ed Brown Special Forces.
6.) luv2bowhunt - 03/06/2013
OK, unrelated and random........but going through my gun case the other night and found a revolver I had forgotten about.

100% sure it is not registered because it has been handed down and has sat forgotten. It's a Colt Official Police post-war in absolute mint condition.

What should I do with this thing? I'm not a pistol guy but I'm guessing I'd be in trouble for not having it registered.
7.) Swamp Fox - 03/06/2013
What is this registration of which you speak?

Change your screen name immediately.

Damn....you beat me to it.

That said, there is no such thing as firearm "registration" in PA (in fact that is explicitely prohibited by PA law: 18 Pa.C.S. § 6111.4 ), so you're good-to-go there. You only need licensing if you plan on carrying the thing concealed...and even that is a license for you, not the gun itself. If you decide to sell or otherwise transfer it you will however need to go through the "Pennsylvania Instant Check System" (PICS).

Here's a handy high-level FAQ from the state of PA itself: http://www.pafoa.org/law
11.) bluecat - 03/06/2013
I've shot 1910's, 1911's and 1912's. They are all good.

Sad that a non-Pa resident has to give a life long Pa resident a study in his own law. Ohh, BTW Luv2, I'm licensed to carry concealed in your wonderful state. carry on!
13.) BULLZ-i - 03/06/2013
HMMM, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO WITH IT? YOU NEED MY ADDRESS IS WHAT YOUR REALLY SAYING?????
14.) bluecat - 03/06/2013
Last time I posted a pic of my gun, DParker made fun of the size. Still haven't gotten over that.
15.) luv2bowhunt - 03/06/2013
I don't know and don't care about PA handgun laws. Don't carry them out of the house ever.

Hey BZ make me an offer. Trust me this thing is mint condition. I'll post a pic sometime if anyone cares.

PS - Jon hates me and I'm the ambassador of luv.

Correction: The above is obviously not from the state of PA, but is the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association...but with links to the PA statutes on the state's website.

Ditto.
I don't know and don't care about PA handgun laws. Don't carry them out of the house ever.
As indicated in my previous post there are good reasons to care about PA firearm laws whether or not you plan to carry. For instance, your stated intent to sell the gun, as well as your original concern that you might be in trouble because it's not registered. But your choice, of course.
17.) Swamp Fox - 03/06/2013
1911...1912....Whatever it takes.
