I got to shoot one of those a couple of years ago when the guy at the range stall next to me had one and showed an interest in my M&P, so we swapped pistols for a few rounds. It's actually a descent gun, but if any firearm ever felt like a plastic toy it's the Five-Seven. The ammo is stupid expensive if you don't load your own, and hard to find too as it's only available to civilians from a couple of manufacturers.

I was very interested in a rifle in 5.7 for quite a while, but over the course of a couple of years it never seemed like ammo was 1) available and 2) reasonably priced. So I kinda gave up on it. If the ammo situation ever changes, I believe I can find a place for it, though. Was never very interested in the handgun.

The other thing I picked up about the five-seven is that everyone thinks reloading is very tricky. I'm thinking that someone (gun maker, possibly even the one I was looking at) even advises against using handloads in it at all.

I wouldn't even be interested in a rifle in 5.7x28 FN unless I could get a P90 in full auto...and that ain't gonna' happen. And even if it did, ammo would need to be REALLY available and cheap. So...

No 5.7 for me!!!!!

You, sir, have no soul...

Speaking of finding stuff....

I found this while goofing around with some open-carry stuff:

One of the questions seems to be how the police found him: brandishing or legally open-carrying, or what.

Other questions concern the human leg he found in the BBQ cooker...

Nope, I don't have anything to register:wink
12.) DParker - 03/18/2014
Oh, of course not. But I thought you might burn one anyway just as a show of solidarity. Yeah, that's the ticket.
